Tiny House

The tiny house we had to design was a temporary housing unit, consisting of 2 units that we could connect in a way that we wanted. I eventually went for an L-shape, so that I could arrange all my spaces nicely one after the other and still create different views from the windows. The unit was to be located on the roof of the Tweekerken campus in Ghent. The surface we had available was only 45 m2, this for all the usual rooms like livingroom, bedroom, sanitary, kitchen, ... . I personally think this was a very successful project: I chose to not close off any space, in order to still have a spacious feeling, but still creating enough privacy in certain spaces, this thanks to the 4 wooden blocks I put in the unit.
