Pavilion

This semester project is a pavilion that is accessible to everyone. It is located on the coast of the North Sea. The pavilion hangs over a cliff. It is a place of reflection and to relax. I tried to play with the concepts of tension and rhythm. The tension is created by three platforms, sticking out of the pavilion and hanging over the cliff, floating above the beach. You can walk, sit and relax on these platforms. Inside the building, the walls all have the same size and shape, which, via their placement, create the rhythm.
