Together/Apart

For this semester project we were asked to work in one of the studios of our school. We had to design a house for a couple and for a student. The student was to have his own privacy and therefore also his own space, separate from the couple. But the house was also to have some common areas such as storage rooms. one could say that the intention was to design 2 houses in 1 house.
In this project I worked with some organic shapes, such as the mezzanine, this to make it a bit more playful.
It was the first time that we were allowed to use all the materials we wanted ourselves, so I have chosen to use a lot of color in my interior, with different shades of green and pink. These two, together with the materials such as wood and the terrazzo used in kitchen and floors, complement well with the character of the house.
